DJ MALCOLM DEMARCO
Typically, weddings are attended by people from a variety of backgrounds. Often, there is a mixture of both old and young and it’s also common to see cultural diversity among attendees. I try to really embrace this as a DJ as it provides an opportunity to learn about music from different eras and different parts of the world. Personally, I really enjoy R&B music from the 90’s, Soul music and Pop music from the 80’s. I also enjoy playing Dancehall and classic House music.
After moving to Northamptonshire earlier this year, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed performing at various wedding venues in the county. I particularly enjoy playing at rural countryside venues where I get an opportunity to use my hand-made wooden DJ booth. Prior to hiring me to DJ at your wedding, it would be great to speak to you about your musical requirements. Personally, I enjoy featuring a mixture of contemporary and classic wedding music but it would be fantastic to hear from you so that I can ensure the perfect combination at your wedding reception.
As a multifaceted wedding DJ, there are some other services I can provide on your special day. For instance, I’m a confident public speaker and I’m happy to make announcements throughout the wedding reception. For instance, I’m generally tasked with introducing both the first and final dances.
I can also provide disco and uplighting which, in my opinion, play a pivotal role in creating the right atmosphere. I particularly enjoy using a haze machine to enhance the effects of my disco lights. I’m also a huge advocate of using uplights to transform the ambiance of a room.

DISCO LIGHTING AND UPLIGHTING
RUSTIC DJ BOOTHS
Our simple, sophisticated rustic setups are ideal for weddings that take place in rural countryside locations. The handcrafted DJ booths we use look even better with uplights placed beneath them. We can also adorn our wooden booths with custom-made neon signs or love hearts that sit perfectly in front of them. Generally, we place a pair of wooden podiums on either side of our rustic DJ booth. We use the podiums to mount our disco lights which can be programmed to match the colour scheme of the wedding.
DISCO LIGHTING
Disco lighting plays a crucial role in creating a party atmosphere. In my experience, a relatively dark room, lit by white disco lights is ideal for a wedding reception. Our disco lights can do this perfectly. We generally use them in conjunction with a haze machine which enhances the effects, and uplights (which we place beside our DJ booths). To mount our lights, we use podiums. Again, we generally use our uplights to illuminate them.
UPLIGHTING
Uplighting is the process of placing lights on the floor and placing them toward the ceiling. This technique is deployed to create depth and ambiance with different colours used to create varying effects. I like to match the colour scheme for the wedding or event when I use mines, which are generally placed either beside my booth or beside the podiums I use to mount my disco lights. At times, I program them so that they flash intermittently. This can be particularly effective during the wedding disco.

Our digital photo pods are extremely popular at weddings! They offer a fun and interactive way to capture memories with friends and family. Our pod is easy to use and can be operated via a simple touchscreen which enables users to share images, videos, pictures, and GIFs via text, WhatsApp, email, and AirDrop.
