DJ MALCOLM DEMARCO
I’ve worked professionally as a wedding DJ for over a decade. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to play for a variety of wedding parties which has aided my experience. Since moving to Northamptonshire, from London, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed performing in the counties that surround my new area. Bedfordshire has some particularly nice venues and is, without question, one of my favourite locations in the local area.
I enjoy playing music from a multitude of genres at weddings. I’m particularly fond of Soul, House, R&B, and Dancehall music and I also have a soft spot for Pop music from this country released in the Nineties and the Noughties. I also enjoy working alongside couples to curate playlists based on their favourite tracks.
During your wedding, I can also provide several other services. For instance, I have a photo pod which is incredibly popular, and I can also supply uplighting and disco lighting. I also have a number of DJ booths, each suited to different locations.
I can also provide disco and uplighting which, in my opinion, play a pivotal role in creating the right atmosphere. I particularly enjoy using a haze machine to enhance the effects of my disco lights. I’m also a huge advocate of using uplights to transform the ambiance of a room.

DISCO LIGHTING AND UPLIGHTING
RUSTIC DJ BOOTHS
Our simple, sophisticated rustic setups are ideal for weddings that take place in rural countryside locations. The handcrafted DJ booths we use look even better with uplights placed beneath them. We can also adorn our wooden booths with custom-made neon signs or love hearts that sit perfectly in front of them. Generally, we place a pair of wooden podiums on either side of our rustic DJ booth. We use the podiums to mount our disco lights which can be programmed to match the colour scheme of the wedding.
DISCO LIGHTING
It’s difficult, in my opinion, to overestimate the importance of quality disco lighting. A good disco lighting setup is visually stimulating and compliments both the music and the colour scheme at a wedding. Indeed the best disco lights can be programmed to work in synchronization with beats of a song and can be adjusted to match other colours in display throughout a venue. Disco lights can also alter the perception of space, making a room look smaller or larger depending on how they’re deployed. Typically, we operate our disco lights alongside our haze machine, which enhances their effects.
UPLIGHTING
Using uplights at weddings has numerous benefits. For instance, they’re effective of drawing attention to particular aspects of our setup. Generally, we place then beside our DJ booth or beside our podiums which helps to make these areas appear more dynamic. We can also use our Uplights to decorate other aeras of a wedding venue. For instance, they can be placed strategically beside the dancefloor, or even a centrepiece to draw focus to that area.
DIGITAL PHOTO PODS
If you’re thinking of another way to entertain your guests during your special day, you should consider hiring our digital photo pod. It easy to operate, and can be customised to suit the requirements of your wedding. For instance, you can add either a video or a picture of your choice to the TV screen at the bottom of the Pod. You can also add personalized branding or message to the welcome screen which users with see just before they capture some special memories. Once you’re happy with the videos, pictures of GIFs you’ve taken you can share them instantly via text messages, WhatApp, email and AirDrop.
